RoadCue (“RoadCue”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is designed to help drivers improve their driving skills through real-time driving analysis, optional navigation, and post-drive coaching.
RoadCue is privacy-first. By default, your driving data is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not collect or upload your driving history to our servers.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
If you create an account, we may process only the information required to provide optional account features, such as:
- Email address
- Authentication information
- Subscription status (if applicable)
RoadCue does not upload your driving data to your account.
Driving Data
During a drive, RoadCue analyses information such as:
- Vehicle speed
- GPS location
- Road geometry
- Lane positioning
- Following distance
- Roundabouts
- Junctions
- Speed limits
- Driving events
- Driving scores
All driving analysis is performed locally on your device.
Your driving history remains on your device unless you choose to export or share it.
Camera
RoadCue uses your device camera to analyse the road ahead.
The camera is used only for features such as:
- Lane detection
- Vehicle detection
- Traffic sign recognition
- Speed limit recognition
- Speed bump detection
- Road analysis
- Driving assistance
Camera images and video are processed on your device.
RoadCue does not continuously record or upload camera footage.
Navigation
Navigation is completely optional.
If you choose to use navigation, RoadCue processes:
- Current location
- Destination
- Route
- Turn-by-turn guidance
Navigation information is processed on your device to provide guidance and improve driving analysis.
2. Local Processing
RoadCue has been designed with privacy as a core principle.
Driving information, including:
- Camera analysis
- Driving scores
- Routes
- GPS history
- Driving events
- Lane analysis
- Following-distance analysis
- Speed-limit detection
- Roundabout analysis
- Navigation events
is processed and stored locally on your device.
We do not collect, upload or store this information on our servers.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not collect your driving history.
We do not upload your journeys.
We do not monitor where you drive.
Your driving data remains under your control on your own device.
If you choose to export a report or share it, only the information you choose to share will leave your device.
4. Artificial Intelligence
RoadCue uses on-device machine learning and computer vision to analyse driving behaviour.
These models operate locally on your device.
We do not use your driving data to train our AI models.
5. Data Retention
Your driving history is stored locally on your device.
You can delete your:
- Driving sessions
- Reports
- Journey history
- Event snapshots (if enabled)
at any time from within the app.
Deleting the app may also remove locally stored data, depending on your device settings.
6. Third-Party Services
RoadCue may use third-party services only for features such as:
- Authentication (optional)
- Subscription management
- Crash reporting (if enabled)
- Maps and navigation providers
These services do not receive your driving history unless it is necessary to provide the feature you have chosen to use.
7. Your Privacy
RoadCue was built to give drivers full control over their information.
By default:
